On her Instagram Story, the singer shared video clips of her family’s celebration, which featured lots of dancing and face painting. One post was a heartwarming selfie with both of her parents, with Grande writing, “First Thanksgiving with both of my parents in 18 years!”
The songstress rarely shares pics of her father on social media. For instance, last Christmas, she shared a black-and-white photo of herself having FaceTime with her dad after releasing her “Thank U, Next” a few months earlier. This famous hit addressed her relationship with her dad.
Grande and her dad, Butera, fell out of touch in 2013. She described the experience as one of the hardest she ever had to deal with. She added that what happened was private and it took her long to be fine with it.
Her holiday celebration came several days after she fell on stage during her show in Tampa, Florida. A fan captured her fall in a video and posted it on Twitter. She was seen strutting across a table in her platform boots with stiletto heels when she had a misstep and tumbled into one of her backup dancers who caught her from below. She was seen laughing at what happened and continued with the rest of the performance.- Advertisement -
The superstar retweeted the video after her show and wrote that at least she made the button and that things were going too well. She also addressed the crowd about her fall and laughed it off again.
Ariana Grande thanked her fans for making her feel loved when she fell earlier. She added she had to fall because she’s had 87 shows already and hasn’t fallen yet so it finally happened.
