On February 15, Saturday, the Beverly Hills, 90210 alum shared Dohetry’s persistence and positivity amidst her battle with cancer.
The 46-year-old spoke out during the Annual Open Hearts Gala in Beverly Hills on Friday about how hard the situation is for his friend. He said that cancer is never an easy thing for anyone and he loves his co-star. He added that he and Shannen always had a great relationship and the actress is strong in this situation. Green also said that she’ll get through everything she’s going through right now.
The actor continued saying that adversity only makes us stronger and it does with Shannen too. He also added that Shannen is a very good person and she deserves all the well-wishers and the friendships that she is having right now.
Earlier this month, the 48-year-old actress revealed that she was diagnosed with terminal breast cancer three years after going into remission. She was previously diagnosed with breast cancer in March 2015. She shared that she chose to keep the diagnosis within herself while doing BH90210 in 2019. She only shared the news about her diagnosis to one person and it was her co-star Green.
The actress shared that Green would always call her and say that whatever happens, he has her back. Shannen opened up about her battle with cancer on Instagram one week after revealing the news to the public.
On Feb.11, the actress wrote alongside a photo of herself riding a horse that she wanted to thank everyone for their love, prayers, and support. She said that it has been a difficult time and she finds her feet not completely underneath her. She added that to say she’s stressed out is an understatement, to say that she’s struggling is mild, but she believes that she’ll find her way.- Advertisement -
She added that she’ll dig deeper into her strengths and will face it all. She continued that she’ll pray and do it all with dignity and grace and she let everyone know how positivity helped her.
