Ed Sheeran has been making dozens of music videos but it wasn’t until his latest single, “Put It All On Me”, that he finally got to star in a music video with his wife, Cherry Seaborn. The song is actually a collaboration with Ella Mai from his latest album called No. 6 Collaborations Project. The video depicts a celebration of love from all corners of the world.
The highly anticipated video was directed by Jason Koenig and stars real-life couples having fun and dancing together from different places in the world such as New York, Dallas, Guatemala, California, Tanzania, Zanzibar, and the Pacific Northwest.
Above all, the music video takes fans to London where the multi-awarded singer and his wife had a special appearance where they’re seen dancing in a kitchen. This scene marked the first time that the two were able to star together in Sheeran’s music videos despite being a couple for years now.
Based on the caption in the music video, the couple were crushing hard when they were still in high school and made out at the Castle on the Hill. They reconnected a few years ago and realized the chemistry is still there. They got back together and finally tied the knot in January 2019.
The 28-year-old singer dropped the news of his marriage while doing his album No. 6 Collaborations Project. In a song he collaborated with Eminem and 50 Cent, “Remember the Name”, he hinted in the lyrics about his wife wearing red but looking better without lipstick. He revealed that he wasn’t sure about including that in the song because it was written before they got married though he was sure they would be married by the time the song will be released.- Advertisement -
Ed Sheeran considers himself very lucky to have Cherry in his life. He said that she could be with whoever she wanted but she chose to be with her. He added that despite him saying all the wrong things about him, she was still there and Sheeran finds that amazing. Fans speculated that they got married in February but he confirmed that their wedding took place a month earlier.
