Gabrielle Union Shares Moving Tribute for Kobe Bryant


Gabrielle Union joined other celebrities and fans during Kobe Bryant’s celebration of life which honored the late basketball legend who passed away in a plane crash last month together with his daughter and seven other passengers. During her speech, she said that she is keeping his loved ones very close to her heart.

Union was there with her husband, Dwayne Wade, at the Staples Center for Kobe and Gianna’s public memorial. The actress shared tweets throughout the ceremony.

In one of her tweets, she said that LA’s beauty was in full display and that many people living in LA were present and mourning in their own way. Everybody felt welcomed and accepted.

Union also shared her observation on how everybody hugged and acknowledged each other’s presence. She described it as a very emotional and healing process to witness.

Moreover, the celebrity reminded others that support systems also need support systems. She urged everybody to check on their folks and offer assistance no matter how big or small because they can be lifesavers.

He concluded her touching message with a note to those who are still mourning over the deaths of Kobe and Gianna. To Gigi’s teammates whom they got the opportunity to meet together with their parents, she extended her thanks to them for being fierce warriors. She also reminded them to continue their hard work and to lean on each other for support. She also said how much they love Vanessa and the girls.

On the other hand, Vanessa Bryant made her first public remarks through a heartwarming eulogy for her husband and daughter. She shared that the two were funny, happy, and silly and how much they loved life. She also mentioned that they were full of happiness and adventure. Moreover, she said that God knew they were inseparable so He had to bring them home together.


Vanessa also had a message for Kobe to take care of Gigi because she still got their three other daughters, Nata, Bebe, and Koko. She then said how much they love and miss the forever and always and also told them to have fun in heaven.
