After four years of being in a relationship, Gwen Stefani and Blake Shelton are now ready to take their relationship to the next level.
The couple has been surrounded by rumors for a long time now such as they had a secret engagement or that they got married already. Many sources told PEOPLE that the lovebirds have been serious towards each other right from the beginning but somehow, they’ve hit a roadblock as far as their future together is concerned.
According to a Stefani insider, Shelton is serious about the songstress and already thought of proposing to her. However, she is a Roman Catholic and wants to have a church wedding with the country singer. Stefani was married to Gavin Rosdale for 13 years before they separated in 2015.
Another friend of the couple told PEOPLE that the two celebrities have found “the one” in each other and they’re both very serious about what they have as a couple. The friend confirmed that their relationship is definitely moving towards the direction of marriage. The 43-year-old country singer has become a second father figure to her children for the last four years. Stefani and her ex have three sons together namely 13-year-old Kingston, Zuma who is 11 and Apollo aged 5. In addition, their families have become close to each other as well.
Moreover, the friend told PEOPLE that they’re compatible in many ways. It is clear how much she loves him. Now that they have put their heartbreaks behind them, the only way to go is forward.
Just recently, the coupled teamed up for a new duet. They released “Go Ahead and Break My Heart” in 2016 while the latest track is called “Nobody But You” which is a part of Shelton’s new album, Fully Loaded: God’s Country, which will be released on December 13.- Advertisement -
According to Shelton, this is a kind of song wherein the more he listens to it, the more he falls in love with it. He added that the song is important to him and where he is in his life right now. He continued on saying that it fit his story. In fact, he refers to it as their song and it’s magical.
