Hugh Jackman and Ryan Reynolds are back on their fictitious feud again just when fans thought they were on “ceasefire”.
On Tuesday, August 18, the X-Men actor continued their never-ending friendly war during his virtual appearance on Good Morning America.
The rivalry between the two stars came up when Jackman discussed his recent Emmy nomination for his role in the movie Bad Education. For those who’ve been following the actors, Reynolds sent his congratulations to Jackman in July. However, the Deadpool actor couldn’t resist joking him about it. According to the 43-year-old star, Jackman didn’t deserve the nomination at all. To this, The Greatest Showman star fired back with a joke of his own by suggesting that Reynolds was just jealous of him.
When Jackman was asked if he still checks on Reynolds, the celeb couldn’t help but tease the actor about it.
According to Jackman, he still checks on Blake all the time, referring to Blake Lively, Reynolds’ wife. He added that he couldn’t imagine what the whole isolation has been like for her because she’s been spending months with Ryan in the same house. He explained that he’s been checking on her all the time and she really, really appreciates it, saying that it’s been very difficult for the actress.
Not only that but Jackman also joked about having a “big brother, little brother” relationship with Reynolds. He continued on by saying he keeps trying to take the high road and it’s difficult and draining. He added that he’s been trying to teach him but he won’t listen.
During a recent episode of Daily Pop, Jackman shared what Reynolds’ reaction was when he got his Emmy nomination. He noted that he got lots of texts from everyone but absolutely nothing came from Ryan.

He read the “text” and based on it, Ryan’s devastated and said he wasn’t getting out of bed for three days, adding it’s the greatest gift that he had ever given him.
Last April, the two actors agreed to temporarily stop their friendly feud but it looks like they’re back at it again.
