Pop star Katy Perry has been accused of sexual misconduct by a male model and co-star of Teenage Dream music video Josh Kloss. The singer, apparently made inappropriate and abusive move at a party.
In an instagram post Josh Kloss said that the incident happened at Johny Wujek’s birthday party. Apparently, Katy Perry pulled down Josh’s pants and underwear to show his male genitals to her two friends. Josh Kloss wrote: “It was Johny Wujek’s birthday party at moonlight roller way. And when I saw her, we hugged and she was still my crush. But as I turned to introduce my friend, she pulled my Adidas sweats and underwear out as far as she could to show a couple of her guy friends and the crowd around us, my penis. Can you imagine how pathetic and embarrassed i felt?”.
This coming out has been made just before the video’s 9th anniversary. The male model said that he “was pretty embarrassed” throughout shooting the video, yet had to give it all, as his ex was at that time cheating on him, and his daughter was still a toddler.- Advertisement -
Despite the fact of the abuse, Josh Kloss considers Katy Perry “an amazing leader” and her songs to be “mainly great empowering anthems”. Yet, he had to come out, to show that not only men can abuse their powers. “I just say this now because our culture is set on proving men of power are perverse.“, he said, adding that “females with power are just as disgusting“.
The post has obviously gone viral. And while many Instagram users support Josh Kloss, others refuse to believe him. For many, the whole idea that men can be just as abused as women by those in power is strange. And the fact that a female pop star abused her power and sexually harassed a male model is somewhat hard to accept for many.
