The 2019 People’s Choice Awards is one of the most prestigious award-giving bodies in the world and this year Keeping Up With the Kardashians took home the Best Reality Show Award on the night of November 10. The Kardashian-Jenner clan composed of Kris Jenner and her daughters, Khloe, Kourtney, and Kim accepted the family’s award on stage but only Kim and Kris delivered their speeches.
Khloe also won the Best Reality Star award but she just stood behind her mom and Kim smiling with Kourtney. Fans were disappointed and expressed their frustrations because she didn’t deliver a speech to say thanks to them. After all, her fans voted for her to win the award.
However, Khloe told one of the fans that it was very loud in the venue and she didn’t have an idea that she won an individual award until they walked off the stage. She admitted feeling badly about what happened and said she was grateful and appreciative. She herself couldn’t believe she won and didn’t say anything because she didn’t hear it in the first place.
One of the fans told those who commented negative things to the reality star said to give her a break because “nerves are a real thing”. To this Kardashian replied that it’s true but she literally didn’t know it and that she felt bad. She also said she loves her fans so much.
In order to explain her side, the Revenge Body host also posted on her Instagram Story with Kourtney where she said that it was awkward when you go on stage. She added that unlike Kim who would take over and talk, she and Kourtney were just there at the back trying to ask themselves if they should also say thank you or what.- Advertisement -
Despite not being able to say it out loud, the celebrity said that they are really grateful. She won an award and she got nervous though people think she doesn’t feel this way. The sisters even joked about Kourtney “turning down” the award and Khloe said she was happy receiving her hand-me-down award.
On the other hand, sister Kim also came to the rescue saying that Khloe will get her moment for winning Reality Star of the year. She deserves a moment.
