News broke out on Sunday that Lindsay Lohan’s ex and owner of Pink Taco restaurant, Harry Morton, died. The 38-year-old’s death was confirmed by the Los Angeles Coroner’s while the autopsy is still pending though he reportedly passed away last Saturday.
Morton is a well-known Hollywood restaurateur who made headlines in the past for his romantic relationships with celebrities like Lohan, Jennifer Aniston, Paris Hilton, and Demi Moore. His body was discovered on Saturday in his Beverly Hills home.
Meanwhile, Morton was found unresponsive by his brother, Matthew Morton. However, the cause of his death is still undetermined but they assured there was no foul play and an autopsy is currently ongoing.
Lohan and Morton dated during the summer of 2006. Four years later, he started seeing Jennifer Aniston. In 2013, he dated Demi Moore for approximately six months before going on a date with Britney Spears in 2015. He was also romantically linked to Paris Hilton whom he had been friends with for years.
In line with this incident, the Pink Taco released a statement saying that they are saddened by the passing of their founder and former owner. They referred to Morton as a visionary and restaurateur and that his professional and personal contributions to the brand and the people he worked with were numerous. Lohan and her younger sister Aliana Lohan are vacationing in Abu Dhabi when she heard the news. She took to social media to post a touching Instagram tribute to honor her ex.
She posted a photo of them together which was taken during a Bobby Premiere at the 2006 Venice Film Festival and wrote “Best friends. Best life” in the caption.
On the other hand, her mom Dina Lohan also posted a reaction regarding the loss of Morton through a private account. She wrote, “RIP Harry” as well as saying that God now has an angel and that they will miss him. She also sent prayers to his family.
Morton is the son of the famous business mogul Peter Morton who co-founded Hard Rock Café and Hotels. His grandfather is Arnie Morton who founded Morton’s The Steakhouse. Aside from owning Pink Taco, he was once the owner of the Viper Room night club and was also an investor in Beacher’s Madhouse.
