Orlando Bloom and Katy Perry are taking things one day at a time amid the COVID-19 pandemic just like everybody else. This was supposed to be a big year for the couple who were supposed to have their luxurious wedding in Japan and with their first baby on the way.
However, coronavirus happened and the A-list couple just like the rest of us have to stay indoors and to avoid gathering and holding events. They had no choice but to postpone their wedding plans and so far, they don’t have a definite date.
A month later, the couple is now preparing to welcome their first baby together amid circumstances that nobody ever anticipated. A source told E! that they’ve had their ups and downs but right now it’s difficult to be stuck at home and feeling anxious about staying healthy. It’s a little stressful for the singer because she is pregnant during this pandemic.
The source added that the couple has to adjust their lifestyle and all that they do during this situation which hasn’t been easy for them. However, they’re very grateful for this time since they can be together and take things slow.
In addition, the source explained that it will not be quiet like this again once the baby arrives. And even though the world is facing a major health crisis, at least Katy is able to take a break from work and take things slow. The couple is very appreciative that they’re healthy and the singer can really look forward to being a mother.
Earlier this month, Orlando and Katy had their intimate sex reveal where they announced that they will be having a girl as the newest member of their family. In early March, the singer actually told the crowd at Melbourne Cricket Ground in Australia, that she was hoping that the child would be a girl. Luckily, it is!- Advertisement -
This is Katy Perry’s first child but she’s learned a lot about parenting from her fiancé. She had been spending time with Orlando and his son, especially during special occasions. Orlando is doing a good job at co-parenting his son Flynn, whom he shares with ex-wife Miranda Kerr.
