Pink exudes positivity whether she’s performing on stage or having a great time wake surfing.
On August 18, the 40-year-old singer posted an Instagram yet another empowering message to all her followers. The post included a picture of herself wearing a swimsuit and life jacket while wake surfing.
Based on her caption, the singer mentioned she always wondered why God gave her thunder thighs. The reason is that God knew she’d use them. She added several hashtags to her post like #throwingbuckets, #joyful, #strongismygoal, and #wakesurfgirl, and #somebodysponsormealready.
Pink has always been fond of sharing inspiring messages on body positivity with her fans. During the MTV Video Music Awards, she clapped back at body-shamers by delivering a powerful speech and reminding everybody that they’re perfect just the way they are.
In addition, she started the year by sharing an open letter to herself. In January, she tweeted addressing herself that she’s getting older and she could see the lines especially when she smiles. She added that her nose is getting bigger and she looks and feels weird as she starts to get used to reality. But then she reminded herself that her nose resembles those of her kids and the wrinkles on her face show when she laughs. She jokingly reminded herself that she smoked, too.
She went on to address her decision that she would never undergo surgery. She told herself that once in a while she would consider altering her face but then she would watch a show and noticed those actors whose face don’t move and she couldn’t see any emotions on their faces. She added she just couldn’t go under the knife.- Advertisement -
The Grammy winner also mentioned that she wants her children to know what she looks like when she’s angry. She has a daughter named Willow Hart, 9, and a son Jameson Hart, 3.
She wrote saying that she’s fortunate because she never really depended on her looks and decided that her talent and individuality are more important than her face. According to Pink, she will allow herself to age the old fashioned way and that means never going under the knife.
