Selena Gomez posted a photo on her Instagram Story of her matching arrow tattoos with longtime friend Julia Michaels. The photo showed Gomez and Michaels holding hands and looking happily at their new tattoos.
The two received tattoos of arrows on their hands. When they hold hands, the tattoos point to each other.
Gomez’s new tattoo was done by Brad Reis while Michaels’ tattoo was from London Reese.
The tattoos were made following a hectic but fun couple of days for the pair. The two sang together on Monday night after celebrating Michaels’ approaching birthday on Sunday night. Michaels will turn 26 on Wednesday.- Advertisement -
Fans cheered on as Gomez appeared on stage with Michaels at the Fonda Theatre on Monday evening. The two sang Michaels’ song “Anxiety”. The song was written by Gomez and Michaels together with Scott Harris and Ian Kirkpatrick.
Michaels went to Instagram to show her appreciation for Gomez’s performance with her. She expressed her happiness as they finally got to perform their creation together. Michaels called Monday night the most epic headline show she’s ever played.
The two also kissed on the lips onstage during the performance. They both shared photos of the kiss on their Instagram Stories.
On Monday, Gomez also shared photos taken from Michaels’ birthday party from Sunday.
Michaels worked closely with Gomez as she wrote her new music. Michaels is credited in “Lose You to Love Me” and “Look at Her Now” as a writer.
When Lose You to Love Me was released, Michaels posted a heartfelt message for Gomez on Instagram. Michaels said that Gomez inspired her to prevail through tough times. Two weeks after its debut, “Lose You to Love Me” reached the top of the Billboard Hot 100 chart. The song is Selena Gomez’s first song to reach the top of the charts.
