Selena Gomez Hits Major Milestone with First No. 1 Song

Selena Gomez has been around in the music industry for a long time but did you know that she never had a single no. 1 song ever? Well, that changed recently after she hit the biggest milestone in her music career by making it to the Billboard Hot 100 chart at no. 1 with her new song, “Lose You to Love Me”.

Her very touching breakup song made it big after only on its first week of streaming. If that’s not enough, she also made it to the no.1 spot on the Rolling Stone 100. This double-chart news seemed unbelievable to the singer cum actress. She actually wrote on a fan’s post, “Wait is that real”. Well, the numbers aren’t lying.

The songstress posted a total of four Instagram Stories that showcased her achievement. Her posts showed how shocked she was when she found out about the terrific news. She also said that it was the first for her and that she is very grateful. She further shared a screenshot of the article as reposted by Julia Michaels song co-writer.

In her second Instagram Story, she said thank you especially to all her fans who streamed and stayed committed to her song. She added that it meant the world to her because the song has her whole heart in it.

On the other hand, she posted a screenshot of the headline and filled it with blue heart emojis as well as a crying face emoji which basically summed up all her feelings. Meanwhile, her fourth Instagram Story was a short video of the students of her cousin saying their congratulations on her behalf.

Finally, she posted her fifth Instagram Story saying thank you to the people who helped her in writing the song, Justin Tranter and Michaels. She referred to them as her soulmates who changed her life ever since Good For You, debuted.

If these aren’t enough, Selena Gomez also shared a grid post emphasizing her love and gratitude to all those who were instrumental to her success. She said that she had been working very hard to make her album honest and fun while at the same time remaining vulnerable as she shares where she is now in her life.
