Selena Gomez’s Red Carpet Advice Proves She’s the Big Sister Everybody Needs

Remember when Selena Gomez took her little sister, Gracie Teefey, to watch the Frozen 2 premiere last month at the Dolby Theatre in Los Angeles? Not everybody was aware of it but that was a momentous event for the little girl’s life as it was her red carpet debut. The two wore matching Marc Jacobs ensemble with capes adorned with feathers and jewels.

The 27-year-old singer shared with Nick Grimshaw during the BBC One’s music show called Sounds how that magical moment turned into one of the best of their lives.

According to her, it was the coolest feeling ever and she made it clear to Teefey that it’s her favorite carpet moment. They never forced her into it at all. She has grown very dramatic and is crazy about dresses and glitter.

Before they stepped out into the red carpet, the Look at Me Now singer gave her heartwarming advice. She bent down and looked at her and said that in case she got nervous or overwhelmed, all she had to do was pull her hand and they’ll take off right away and the little girl said okay.

To her surprise, Teefey owned that red carpet moment. In fact, Gomez even joked that she was just standing there and telling her little sister to get her in the picture, too. It was definitely a night to remember for the sisters.

Moreover, Gomez revealed that Teefey was living her life and had the best time. It was like going to Disneyland for the little girl.

So what does the “Lose You to Love Me” singer plan to do during the holiday? She recently revealed that she would be spending quality with her loved ones. In addition, she is using this time to look back on the past year which she considered a very “powerful” time for her.

Selena Gomez mentioned that there’s always that time during the holidays wherein all you want to do is sit down and reflect on what happened during the year. She added that she’s proud of what she accomplished in 2019 and that she’s excited to be with her family and enjoy spending the holiday with them.
