Shawn Mendes threw Camila Cabello a dreamy Cinderella-themed surprise birthday party.
The singer turned 23 yesterday, March 3, and her real-life prince gave her the surprise of a lifetime. Mendes is presently in the UK filming the musical remake of Cinderella but the distance didn’t stop him from spending this special with his girlfriend.
Cabello was joined by the whole Cinderella cast including the director, Kay Cannon, who shared a photo of the smiling couple. She captioned the Instagram post with a sweet birthday greeting for Cabello.
On the other hand, Fra Fee, an Irish actor, also shared photos of the birthday celebration. He shared a selfie of himself together with the birthday celebrator and her beau on Instagram. He also shared a photo of Cabello blowing the candles of her cake which resembled Cinderella’s carriage.
Aside from the carriage-shaped cake, there was also an ice sculpture of her popular glass slipper. In it are words, “Happy Birthday, Camila”. Fee captioned his posts with a greeting, referring to the singer as a bloody beautiful legend. Further, he also posted a video to his Instagram Stories of the instance when the celebrator walked into the venue together with Mendes and she was jumping up and down while everybody sang “happy birthday”.
Meanwhile, Maddie Baillio also shared photos from the party. In one of her Instagram Stories, the couple was seen cutting the cake together and one time Cabello was seen unwrapping one of her birthday gifts.
On the other hand, Cabello also encouraged her followers to donate to Save the Children Fund. It’s an organization that aims to help improve the lives of children.
Based on her post, she thanked everybody for sending their birthday love for her. She then talked about a humanitarian crisis where 950,000 people in Syria fled their homes amidst the violence happening in Idlib. These people, most of them children, are currently living in displacement camps.- Advertisement -
She added that Save the Children is working hard to provide food and clothes for these displaced families, however, they also need help. According to her, it’s her birthday and it would mean a lot to her if people would consider donating to the organization. She ended by urging everyone to visit the organization’s website and extending her love to everyone.
