Jacob Elordi and Joey King shared some tips and tricks on how to survive long-distance relationships.
The Kissing Booth 2 just made its way to Netflix and now it’s one of the top films to watch. The actors play Elle and Noah who now that they’re attending schools on opposite sides of the country, are doing long-distance and this is something that the majority can relate to.
So how do their characters keep the fire burning in their relationship despite being apart? It’s all about keeping the conversation flowing for Joey. She said that communication is key and that you should make sure that you find time to laugh with each other. She added to not take life too seriously and that at the end of the day, you should be dating your best friend.
With what his co-star said, Jacob had to agree. He shared that Facetime is the greatest gift that anyone has in the world in a time like this. He advised that you shouldn’t just send GIFs and memes – it would mean a lot to your loved ones and friends if you just give them a call.
The Kissing Booth 2 introduces some new problems for Elle and Noah, just like the book it’s based on.
Sure, with Noah Flynn, her reformed bad-boy boyfriend, Elle Evans just had the most romantic summer of her life. Now, Noah is not only going to Harvard which is literally on the other side of the country, but also, he seems to have made a new and beautiful friend named Chloe (played by Maisie Richardson-Sellers). On the other hand, Elle heads back to high school for her senior year – which means that she’ll have to juggle a long-distance relationship. Elle also has her own version of a new and beautiful friend in Marco (played by Taylor Zachar Perez).- Advertisement -
As if these problematic issues aren’t enough yet, Elle’s ever troublesome friendship with Lee, who has gotten over her dating his brother – add up to the pile. Right now, both of them have to gradually deal with the fact that Elle might possibly abandon their plans to go to Berkeley together in an exchange for following Noah to Harvard.
All these issues all make for a truly complicated senior year (and of course, problems in the protagonists’ relationships too).
By watching The Kissing Booth 2, which is now out on Netflix, fans of the movie can see how Elle and Noah’s long-distance relationship pans out.
