The mastermind behind your favourite celebrity hairstyles including Kendall Jenner, Khloe Kardashian, Kim Kardashian, Kourtney Kardashian, Chrissy Teigen, Hailey Bieber and Karlie Kloss is now giving her tips and tricks for the best hair glow-up.
The New York City native and current Ouidad brand ambassador – Irinel de León, in an interview with E! News, exclusively shared her tricks to how she styles the hair of everyone’s favourite celebrities.
When E! asked about some of her tips and tricks on how to achieve the perfect effortless hairstyle look from home, she’d say probably using whatever natural texture you have – if you have curly or wavy hair, you’d probably just use styling creams, scrunch it into your hair and let it air dry. She personally loves the Ouidad Curl Quencher – for curly hair, it’s like an intense curl cream. On the other hand, she’d probably saw a low, pretty bun with face-framing tendrils for girls with straight to wavy hair.
As to what else people should be doing right now to get their hair back to the healthiest it can be, she says try to mask for sure – she calls it “mask and chill.” At least once a week, she suggests applying a treatment mask to your hair – you can leave it in all day or sleep in it.
One of her favourite hydrating masks is the Ouidad Ultra Nourishing Intense Hydrating Mask – it has a ton of nutrients and just like really yummy ingredients for your hair. After she washed her hair, she normally puts it in, then she’ll either braid her hair, let it air dry or wrap it in a bun and just let it be.
Irinel says it is indeed really hard to look effortless unless you’re a French woman who got really pretty effortless texture, but usually, she’ll use two different tools on clients. She’ll use a curling iron and flat iron, adding that it’s important to create different types of texture in the hair.- Advertisement -
If you want to have effortless waves using two different tools, you can achieve that. With a curling iron, you can go in and kind of go through and curl your hair by making different twists in it, going forward, going back, and switching the direction.
Once it’s all done and cooled down, you can rake your fingers through it, then with a flat iron, you can go in and touch up a couple of pieces, creating a different kind of texture just to break the texture of the curling iron up so you have aplenty things going on, but in the end, it will end up looking super effortless – she shares that texture spray is her best friend for styling.
